Introduction:

"The Fingerprint Voting System" aims to ensure the integrity and accuracy of electoral process in democratic nations by introducing a secure and reliable method based on fingerprint recognition technology. This system aims to ensure that each eligible voter can cast only one vote without rigging and frauds etc , thereby upholding the principle of "one person-one vote".

Technology Overview:

Fingerprint recognition technology, also known as biometric fingerprint authentication, operates by capturing and analyzing unique patterns found on an individual's fingertips. These patterns are distinctive to each person, making fingerprints a reliable method for personal identification.

How Fingerprint Recognition Works:

Capture: A fingerprint scanner captures an image of the fingerprint using optical, capacitive, or ultrasonic sensors.

Extraction: Software algorithms analyze the captured image to extract unique features such as ridge endings, bifurcations, and ridge patterns.

Matching: During authentication, a user's fingerprint is scanned again, and the system compares the new fingerprint template with the stored template to verify identity.

Reliability:

Uniqueness: Each person's fingerprint is unique, making it highly reliable for individual identification.

Consistency: Fingerprints remain largely unchanged throughout a person's life, providing a stable basis for long-term identification.

1.ENROLLING:

  • VOTER’S ENROLL THEIR DETAILS AND ENROLL  FINGERPRINT BEFORE THE ELECTIONS.

 

2.VOTING(ELECTIONS):

  • IT CHECK ALL THE DETAILS AND MATCHING WITH ENROLLING LIST OF THE VOTER. IF ALL DETAILS ARE CORRECT  THEN HE PASS TO FURTHER STEPS.
  • IN THE ELECTION, VOTER PASS THE  FINGER PRINT SYSTEM.
  • THEN ONLY VOTERS  ALLOWED TO VOTE.

 

  • THEN THE VOTER ELECT THEIR CANDIATE IN THE SCREEN USING THE PUSH BUTTONS.
  • VOTE IS STORED IN DATABASE.

 

3.PREVENTING FRAUDS AND RIGGING:

  • IT CAN RECOGNIZE THE VOTER’S FINGER PRINT  WHETHER THE CANDITATE IS ENROLLED OR NOT  AND  ELIGIABLE OR NOT AND VOTED OR NOT VOTED.
  1. IF THE PERSON TRY TO RIGGING:

 

  • IT DISPLAY THE "FINGER NOT FOUND".

      2.IF THE PERSON TRY TO VOTE AGAIN:

  • IT DISPLAY "ALREADY VOTED" AND "GIVE ALERT BUZZ" TO POLLING OFFICER.
  • IT MAKES ZERO RIGGING IN THE ELECTION.

 

4.ELECTION RESULT DECLARATION:

  1. CHECKING THE DATABASE/STORAGE MEMORY:

      2.COUNTING AND DISPLAY VOTES :

 

  • AFTER THE ELECTION IT CAN AUOTMATICALLY COUNT THE VOTES .
  • DECLARED THE WINNER.
