In the project i made seven Segment display with the help of leds where two led represent one segment of display which is control by Arduino uno.

Seven Segment display
  • It is an alphanumeric display.
  • It contain 7 leds.
  • It is used in digital clock ,electronic meters , basic calculators, and other electronics devices.
  • It has two type common anode & common cathode.
  1. Common Cathode.

             In common cathode all the cathode pins are connected  with the ground.

     2. Common Anode.

            In common anode all the anode pins are connected  with the 5 volt.

About the Project.

in this project Arduino Uno is used  as a Microcontroller  and for making display leds are used where  one segment of display is represented by the two Leds.

As it is a Common cathode Seven segment so all the cathode pin is connected with the ground .

STEPS::-

  1. Take a breadboard and  fixed the all 14 leds as shown in the diagram.

2. After that connect these leds with arduino uno according to diagram.
