How I build this project:
Step-1
Created a monostable circuit using a capacitor, resistor and operational amplifier, to act as trigger timer for 20seconds then go off. This 20seconds is the time the tap runs water making one to wash their hands thoroughly after the circuit is triggered.
Step-2
Designed a comparator that compares the state of IR sensor with the reference voltage then trigger transistors to switch on the motor. An astable circuit triggered by the IR sensor is what controls the monostable circuit.
Step-3
Created an indicator LED for showing that the circuit has been triggered to operate which is connected to the inverter circuit made up of operational amplifiers.
Step-4
To achieve the four operational amplifier-based circuits we used an LM324 so that the four operational amplifiers can be used from one IC.
