This is the very simple transistor-based five-step water level indicator for home and industries to use to monitor the level of the water tanks. It is corrosion-free and used for any conductive or non-corrosive liquids using this circuit.
Working Principle:
In this circuit, we have used 5 transistors that act as a switch. When Transistor’s base terminal gets a signal from the electrode probe then the transistor will be switched ON (act as a close switch) to turn ON the LED.
The main source 6VAC electrode probe (P1 Pin No 2 (A)) is placed at bottom of the tank and place the other probes step by step as per the volume of your tank. When tank water is rising that proportional LEDs will start glowing.

Use the aluminum wires with end insulation removed for all the probes. Arrange the probes as shown in the picture above.
